Week 4 Baseball Rankings
Peach County Baseball is holding firm in the 2024 Baseball Rankings in Week 4. The Trojans are 11-2 and have two more non-Region games remaining before entering Region 2-AAA competition next week.
The Trojans are ranked #5 in the Coaches Box Poll, #5 in the Georgia Prep Baseball Report, #8 in the ScoreAtl Rankings, and #11 in the Maxpreps Rankings in GHSA AAA.
Coach Joey Hiller made the following comments this week about his team.
"I am so proud of how hard these guys are working. They are learning and growing together as a team. We are honored to get some state recognition, but we are fully aware that rankings don't win ballgames; preparation, desire, togetherness, toughness, and performance are what win ballgames. The only ranking I am concerned with is where we finish in Region 2-AAA, making it to the State Playoffs, and how far we can go in the Playoffs."
"We play in an extremely tough Region. That season begins next week, and there will be four very tough three-game series over the next four weeks. I look forward to seeing if our experience last year and the work we have put in this year will pay off. Win or lose, I want us to go out there and compete as hard as we can TOGETHER."
