Peach County Trojans Storm Back To Defeat Dougherty Varsity Trojans

Peach County Trojans rallied to best Dougherty Varsity Trojans 12-9 on Tuesday. Peach County Trojans trailed by as many as six runs during the game.
Zion Hudson collected three hits in five at bats in the win. Hudson doubled in the fifth inning, singled in the sixth inning, and singled in the first inning.
Dougherty Varsity Trojans got on the board in the second inning after Antwan Lockett singled, scoring one run.
Dougherty Varsity Trojans added one run in the third. Jayden J Miller singled down the right field line on a full count, making the score 2-0.
Peach County Trojans jumped back into the lead in the top of the fifth inning after Dougherty Varsity Trojans committed an error, and Dougherty Varsity Trojans committed an error, each scoring one run.

Weaver took the loss for Dougherty Varsity Trojans. The right-handed pitcher went two-thirds of an inning, surrendering seven runs (two earned) on one hit, striking out none and walking four. Miller Greene started the game for Peach County Trojans. The hurler allowed two hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking two. Miller stepped on the bump first for Dougherty Varsity Trojans. The pitcher surrendered seven hits and five runs (three earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Avery Horne collected the save. Jaden Jones appeared in relief for Peach County Trojans.
Peach County Trojans collected nine hits in the game. Rigsby Booth led Peach County Trojans with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks for the game. Hudson stole four bases. Peach County Trojans ran wild on the base paths, collecting eight stolen bases for the game.
