Peach Baseball picks up big Region road win over Bainbridge 9-0
Peach County Trojans Defeat Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats

Jackson Peavy was dominant on the hill, as the lefty rang up 11 strikeouts in Peach County Trojans's 9-0 victory over Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats on Tuesday. Peavy allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings while walking five.
Peach County Trojans got on the board in the top of the second inning after Zion Hudson hit a sacrifice fly, and DJ Hudson singled to left field, each scoring one run.
Parker Landrum took the loss for Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats. The starter went three and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs on three hits, striking out two and walking three. Owen Meredith tossed two innings of zero-run ball for Peach County Trojans in relief. The reliever gave up one hit, striking out two and walking none.
Xavion Childs led Peach County Trojans with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Hudson went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Peach County Trojans in hits. Peach County Trojans had a strong eye at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Rigsby Booth, Meredith, and Hudson led the team with two free passes each. Meredith, Hudson, and Hudson each stole multiple bases for Peach County Trojans. Peach County Trojans ran wild on the base paths, piling up 12 stolen bases for the game.
Benji Dollar went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats in hits.
Peach County Trojans play at home on Friday against Bainbridge in their next game.
