Peach County Baseball earns the Region 2-AAA Sweep against Jackson High School

GAME ONE

On Friday, Bryce Harrelson was brilliant on the hill, as he threw a complete game no-hitter with 20 strikeouts to lead Peach County past Jackson 5-0.

The Trojans started things in the first inning when Torin Helms singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Harrelson took the win for Peach County. The righthander allowed zero hits and runs over seven innings, striking out 20 and walking one.

Zion Hudson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Trojans in hits.

 

GAME TWO

Peach County defeated Jackson 5-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. DJ Hudson led the Trojans to victory on the pitcher's mound. Hudson surrendered zero runs on three hits over six innings, striking out nine and walking one. Aden New threw one inning of relief out of the bullpen.

The Trojans got things started in the second inning, plating two runs.

 

Cameron Griggs led Peach County with two hits in three at-bats.

 

Peach County Baseball travels to Upson-Lee on Tuesday for a 5:55 Region 2-AAA matchup and returns home on Friday for a 5:00 DH against Upson-Lee.
