Peach improves to 3-0 with walkoff win vs Northside
Moye's Walk-off Seals the Deal in Peach County Trojans (Varsity) Victory Over Northside High School
It came down to the wire on Saturday, with Peach County taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the bottom of the 7th that sealed their victory over Northside High School. The Trojans were down 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Hunter Moye singled on a 3-1 count, scoring Cam Griggs from third and Zion Hudson from second.
Northside High School fired up the offense in the first inning. Gabe Turner singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Bryce Harrelson led things off on the hill for Peach County. The righty allowed three hits and two runs over two and a third innings, striking out five and walking zero.
Rhett Adams was on the hill for Northside High School. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out six. Marty Dietrich threw one-third of an inning in relief.
The Trojans collected seven hits. Moye and Cameron Griggs both collected multiple hits for Peach County to lead the Trojan offense.
