DJ Hudson's Big Day Propels Peach County Trojans Past Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats

DJ Hudson collected three hits in three at bats, as Peach County Trojans defeated Bainbridge Varsity Bearcats 11-1 on Thursday. Hudson hit a solo home run to center field in the fifth inning, singled in the third inning, and singled in the second inning.
Peach County Trojans jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Rigsby Booth doubled, scoring one run, Kade Thompson singled, scoring two runs, and Wyatt Blanton doubled, scoring two runs.
A single by Nick Hardee extended the Peach County Trojans lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the second inning.
Peach County Trojans extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Xavion Childs and Hudson.

Peach County Trojans won thanks in part to nine runs in the seventh inning. Hudson doubled, scoring one run, Kade Thompson drew a walk, scoring one run, Zach Veillon was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Xavion Childs was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Zion Hudson was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Hudson was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Scout Willingham tripled, scoring three runs.
Peach County Trojans got on the board in the top of the third inning after Hudson homered to left field, and Thompson doubled down the left field line, each scoring two runs.
