Peavy and New NO-HIT Taylor County in 2-1 Win
Peach County defeated Taylor County 2-1 on Wednesday, March 15, thanks to dominant pitching by Jackson Peavy and Aden New.
Peavy picked up the Win for the Trojans, allowing no hits, three walks, and collecting thirteen strikeouts in five innings. New earned Save, pitching the final two innings, allowing no hits, one walk, two strikeouts, and one unearned run.
Bryce Harrelson led the way for the Peach County offense, going 2/4 with an RBI triple in the 4th Inning. Torin Helms was also 2/4 with a double and a run scored.
The Trojans improved to 8-4 on the season.
Peach County hosts Swainsboro High School on Thursday, March 16, at 6:30 following the 4:00 Middle School game.
