Peach County Baseball falls short against Upson-Lee High School

Georgia Tech commit Jackson Blakely was the winning pitcher for Upson-Lee High School. The hurler lasted seven innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 11 and walking zero.

Jackson Peavy took the loss for Peach County. Peavy allowed four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out and walking four.  Peavy was relieved by Aden New, who pitched two innings, striking out one and allowing no hits.  New was relieved by Mac Raley, who gave up one run and one hit.

Walker Stevens led Upson-Lee High School with two hits in two at-bats.

The Trojans are scheduled to continue their series with Upson-Lee on Friday at home in a 5:00 DH.  The weather does not look promising for Friday, and there is a good chance the games will be moved to Thursday at 4:00.
