Peach County Baseball picks up the 10-0 win against Northside
DJ Hudson threw a shutout to lead Peach County past Northside 10-0 on Tuesday.
The Trojans got things started in the first inning. Torin Helms drew a walk, scoring one run. Jackson Peavy had a sacrifice fly, and Hunter Moye had a 2 RBI single.
Peach County also put up four runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by a sacrifice fly by Zion Hudson and a bases-clearing double by Xavion Childs.
Hudson took the win for the Trojans. Hudson allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Peach County tallied eight hits. Bryce Harrelson, Moye, and Hudson each had multiple hits for the Trojans. Hudson, Moye, and Harrelson all had two hits to lead the way.
The Trojans travel to Cavalier Fields in Macon, GA today to take on the Mount de Sales Cavaliers at 6:00.
