Peach County Baseball and Girls Soccer volunteer at Rooms From the Heart
Madelyn Cliett (Girls Soccer) and Nick Hardee (Baseball) gave up a Saturday in January to volunteer to work on a Rooms From the Heart project.
Rooms From the Heart is a local nonprofit volunteer group that redecorates bedrooms for school-age children who are dealing with life-threatening diseases.
"I was very impressed by the work ethic of both of these young people. They unloaded, sorted, cleaned, put together furniture and a shoe rack, and did anything that was asked of them. I never heard them complain, even when the project ran late. So please know that these two students represent your school well, help in their community, and make a difference in the lives of others," said Kari Waltz, Rooms From the Heart.
