Peach Softball takes down Northside 4-0
Gracie Martin was dominant in the circle, as the hurler rang up 11 strikeouts in the Peach County Lady Trojans's 4-0 victory over Northside on Wednesday.
Martin surrendered one hit and zero runs over seven innings while walking three.
A double by Kaylyn Hornaday put the Lady Trojans on the board in the top of the first.
Peach County added one run in the second. Taleyah Marable grounded out, making the score 2-0.
Kadence Cooley took the loss for Northside. The starting pitcher went seven innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on 10 hits, striking out 10 and walking none.
Peach County accumulated ten hits in the game. Hornaday and Ta'Mori Hollingshed each collected two hits for the Peach County Lady Trojans.
Alyssa Crozier, Hornaday, Hollingshed, and Marable each drove in one run for the Lady Trojans. Peach County turned one double play in the game and didn't commit a single error.
