Peach County Lady Trojans won big over Bainbridge Varsity Lady Cats 12-0 on Thursday.
Peach County Lady Trojans jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Shaniyah Gibson singled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Saniya Martin doubled, scoring two runs.
Peach County Lady Trojans added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning when an error scored one run, Alyssa Crozier doubled, scoring one run, and Jaiden Carroll singled, scoring two runs.
Peach County Lady Trojans added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Gibson singled to center field, and Bainbridge Varsity Lady Cats committed an error, each scoring one run.
Crozier earned the win for Peach County Lady Trojans. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out one and walking none. Emsleigh Glass took the loss for Bainbridge Varsity Lady Cats. The hurler went three innings, allowing 12 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits, striking out three and walking six.
Peach County Lady Trojans amassed 10 hits in the game. Martin, Gibson, and Taleyah Marable each collected two hits for Peach County Lady Trojans.
