Lady Trojans improve to 2-0 with a 12-1 win at Northside
The Softball team defeated Northside of Warner Robins by a score of 12-1.
Summer Wright was 3/4 with a single, triple, and a home run. London Cumming, Alyssa Crozier, and Gracie Martin all joined the bomb squad with Martin delivering a grand slam!
Tecey Gilcrist scored two runs off a walk, a hit, and added 3 stolen bases. Alyssa Smith, Kaylyn Hornaday, Akiria Everett, and Ta'Morie Hollingshed all added a hit each.
Gracie Martin allowed 2 hits, facing 22 batters, and allowed 2 free passes. The Trojans are 2-0 to start the season. The next Game is Tuesday at home versus Rutland in varsity a doubleheader. Game times are 4:30/6:00.
The Junior varsity fell in a heartbreaker 10-11 to Northside. Saniya Martin had two hits, two stolen bases, and two hits. Ti'Myia Owens had a triple. Realyn Cochran, Avery Yaughn, and Stephanie Smith each had a hit.
