Peach County improves to 6-0 in Region 1-AAA with 16-0 win at Westover
Peach County Lady Trojans Firing On All Cylinders Against Westover Varsity Lady Patriots

Peach County Lady Trojans won big over Westover Varsity Lady Patriots 16-0 on Tuesday.
Peach County Lady Trojans got on the board in the top of the first inning after Saniya Martin grounded out, and Jaiden Carroll singled to the right side of the infield, each scoring one run.
Peach County Lady Trojans scored eight runs on two hits in the top of the second inning. Shaniyah Gibson drew a walk, scoring one run, Yumi Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run, Lucy Warnock singled, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs, and Taleyah Marable hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs.
Peach County Lady Trojans scored six runs on four hits in the top of the third inning. Gibson hit a solo home run to left field, Carroll singled, scoring one run, Marable tripled, scoring three runs, and a wild pitch scored one run.
Anna Grace Wilcox earned the win for Peach County Lady Trojans. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Chamya Astin took the loss for Westover Varsity Lady Patriots. The hurler went one and one-third innings, surrendering 10 runs (five earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking five.
Marable, Carroll, and Addison Dickerson each collected two hits for Peach County Lady Trojans. Marable went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with four runs batted in. Peach County Lady Trojans had a strong eye at the plate, collecting nine walks for the game. Wilcox, Avery Yaughn, and Gibson led the team with two free passes each. Dickerson stole two bases. Peach County Lady Trojans ran wild on the base paths, tallying five stolen bases for the game. Peach County Lady Trojans were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Warnock had the most chances in the field with five.
