Peach County Lady Trojans Firing On All Cylinders Against Demonettes

Peach County Lady Trojans won big over Demonettes 12-0 on Monday.

Peach County Lady Trojans got on the board in the top of the first inning after Shaniyah Gibson singled, scoring one run, Addison Dickerson singled, scoring two runs, and one run scored on a dropped third strike.

Peach County Lady Trojans added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Gibson homered to center field, and Lucy Warnock singled to center field, each scoring one run.

Peach County Lady Trojans scored six runs on zero hits in the top of the fifth inning. Warnock drew a walk, scoring one run, Taleyah Marable drew a walk, scoring one run, Saniya Martin grounded out, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and a wild pitch scored one run.

Anna Grace Wilcox earned the win for Peach County Lady Trojans. The starter allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out three and walking three. L Butts took the loss for Demonettes. The pitcher went four innings, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on six hits, striking out three and walking one. Gibson pitched one inning of shutout ball for Peach County Lady Trojans in relief. The righty surrendered zero hits, striking out three and walking none.

Alyssa Crozier and Gibson were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Peach County Lady Trojans while hitting back-to-back. Yumi Thomas, Gibson, Warnock, and Dickerson each drove in one run for Peach County Lady Trojans. Marable led Peach County Lady Trojans with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing six walks for the game.

J Holt went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Demonettes in hits.

Peach County Lady Trojans will travel to Monroe for their next game on Tuesday.
