Peach Softball gets the victory over Howard
Gracie Martin pitched her first complete game after being injured for most of the season. She allowed three hits with eight strikeouts and 0 earned runs against the Lady Huskies, leading Peach County to a 6-2 victory. Gracie was also 3/3 at the plate.
Atiana Gilcrist was 2/3 with two doubles. Alyssa Smith and Jessie Bradley also had two hits. Tierra Bower had a hit and two stolen bases. Akiria Everett added a single and two RBIs.
On her team's performance on Thursday, Coach Sherry Richards said, "The kids played with energy and were hustling all over the field. Senior Tierra Bower has grown into a true leader and has changed the expectations and level at which the team plays and practices."
