Volleyball gets big win vs Sumter County
The Peach County Lady Trojans Volleyball team defeated Sumter County 3 sets to 1 on Thursday, August 22, to avenge an earlier loss to the Panthers on 8/13.
The Lady Trojans won the first two sets, 25-22 and 25-21, but dropped the third set 11-25. Peach County rallied 27-25 to win the final set and take the match.
"The girls had a great attitude in the first two sets with a new lineup. They fought hard and dug deep in the fourth set to come back and finish the game against Sumter County. I am so proud of them," said Coach Joni Thompson on her team's win.
