Peach County Volleyball - Results from 8/29 Tri-Match
Pike County defeated Peach County tonight 25-8 and 25-10. The win for Pike is their second in as many games in Region 2-AAA, while Peach drops to 0-1.
Pike County, now 7-2 overall, jumped out to a big lead in both sets, and the Lady Trojans never could mount a charge.
In the second match of the Tri-Match, Heard County moved to 10-2 on the season with a two-set victory over Peach County. The Lady Trojans did play much better against a stronger opponent but fell 25-10 and 25-19 in the two sets.
Peach County now stands at 2-4 on the season and 0-1 in Region play.
Peach will host a Tri-Match on Thursday against Howard and Mary Persons. Support the Lady Trojans in Fort Valley starting at 5:00pm.
