Peach Volleyball sweeps Sumter County
It was a double-dip sweep of Sumter County in Volleyball today.
JV wins 2-1 with 32-30, 23-25, and 15-4 scores.
Varsity wins 2-0 with scores of 25-15 and 25-12.
JV is now 1-3 on the season and the Varsity improved to 3-6.
Everyone got some valuable playing experience in the JV match. Jada Vance and Lena Hoffmann both played extremely well in the JV match.
At the Varsity level, the Lady Trojans continued their winning ways against Sumter County, winning for the eighth time in as many tries over the Lady Panthers.
Alexia Heyward put on a show with 11 Aces in 21 Serves. Nyala Tillman and Uzzhia Rumph each played outstanding defense. Kelly Blackmon had 4 Kills, while Ava Edwards, Ryenne Stephens, and Demechia Walker had two kills each.
Both teams play on Wednesday, September 6, at Howard High School.
