Peach Volleyball splits the Tri-Match
Win one, lose one……Peach splits their two matches in Barnesville on Thursday.
Lamar Co swept Peach 2-0. Lamar won 25-14 and 25-16.
Nyala Tillman and Kelly Blackmon led Peach Co with a pair of Kills and a pair of Blocks.
Lamar County moves to 8-6 while Peach drops to 3-8 on the season.
In the second match, Peach County beat Crawford County 2-1, winning 25-19, losing 22-25, and rallying to win 15-10 in the final game.
Alexia Heyward had 7 Aces, while Lillian Thornton added 4, including the last two of the deciding game. Blackmon had 4 Blocks, and Uzzhia Rumph finished with three putaways.
Peach improved to 4-8, and Crawford dropped to 9-8.
Peach will square off with Crawford County again on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in Thomaston as part of the Upson-Lee Tri-match. Peach will take on Upson-Lee at 7:00.
