Peach Volleyball drops heartbreaker to Howard
A hard-fought three-set match came down to a late disputed call, and ultimately a Peach County loss, as Howard High School stays unbeaten by defeating PC 2-1.
The Lady Huskies took the first set 25-17 before Peach fought back and claimed set two by a 25-22 count. The third set was a back-and-forth affair, and Howard got a "lucky break" and eased to a 15-13 triumph.
In the match, the Lady Trojans superlatives were Monserrat Bravo, who served 15 times with no errors and garnered 3 Aces. Bravo also had 6 Digs throughout. Alexia Heyward and Demechia Walker each had four Aces in the match. Walker's first Ace finished the furious comeback win in Game Two. Ultimately, the Lady Trojans miscues while serving cost them a chance to garner the win.
