Peach County wins 40-21

Peach County opened the 2024 season against the Northeast Raiders as a part of the 1st Annual Gridiron Classic at Fort Valley State University.  

The Trojans started fast in the 1st Quarter by scoring on the opening drive, and the defense was able to give the offense the ball back quickly. This led to several more scores. The Trojan defense was able to produce at a very high level throughout the entire game. Offensively, Peach County produced several explosive plays, especially in the run game. The defense did an excellent job of tackling the very talented and athletic Northeast offense.  Peach County took a 40-7 lead into the half.  Overall, the Trojans played solid in all three phases of the game. Some of the younger Trojans got varsity experience in the 2nd half.  The game ended at 40-21.

The Offensive Player of the Game was Ashton Barton.
