Peach County Football advances to Round 2 with 23-0 win over Crisp County

Peach County Football advanced to the second round of the GHSA-AAA Football State Playoffs with a 23-0 win against Crisp County. The Trojans will host the Savannah Christian Raiders at 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 18.

Senior Chris McMillian set the tone for the offense with 34 rushes for 228 yards. Robert Jones added 51 yards on nine carries. Colter Ginn helped balance the offensive attack, completing 9 of 17 passes for 159 yards and 1 TD. Skielar Mann led the Trojans in receiving with six catches for 80 yards and a TD.

Coach Campbell was pleased with the effort. "It was a great team performance to get the playoffs started. We were plus 3 in the turnover battle, and the defense shut out crisp with a 'bend-but-don't-break' night. The offense put up over 400 yards. Our offensive and defensive lines of scrimmage won the game for us."
