Trojans improve to 2-1 with a big home win vs. Jones County

What a fantastic night on Friday, September 9, at Peach County High School!  The rain stayed away (until late in the fourth quarter), and the Trojans played a super game against AAAAA Jones County.

A tremendous defensive effort and a consistent offensive attack were the keys to Peach County's success on Friday night.

Chris McMillian had two touchdowns, and quarterback Christian Martin completed 10 of 15 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

The defense did a phenomenal job of containing the Jones County offensive weapons.  Jayden Parker led the way for the Trojan defense with three interceptions, returning one of them for a touchdown.

"I thought it was a great TEAM win with great effort by our guys," said Coach Chad Campbell of his team's performance.

Next for Peach County Football is a Rivalry Week game at Perry High School on Friday, September 16, at 7:30.
