Peach County Football dominates Senior Night
It was a perfect Senior Night for the Trojans, and Peach County Football continued its impressive streak of 39 consecutive seasons with a defensive shutout. Last year, the Trojans shut out Sumter County (59-0), Pike County (62-0), and Central (39-0). *Thanks to Peach County legend Tim Wilson for the information.
"Our defense had its best performance of the year collectively. We made the most of our opportunities on offense when we had possessions and played great team ball. We need to keep improving each week as we are coming to the end of our regular season. We need to play our best football going into the playoffs!" said Head Coach Chad Campbell.
It didn't take Peach County long to get going, scoring quickly on its opening possession. Several players contributed to a fantastic offensive output.
Chris McMillian had ten carries for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Robert Jones had four carries for 16 yards and one touchdown. QB Colter Ginn was 6/10 for 121 yards and two touchdowns. QB Christian Martin was 5/6 for 146 yards and two touchdowns. They spread the ball to several receivers. Isaiah Mitchell had six receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown. Caleb Hampton had one reception for 18 yards and a TD. Skielar Mann had two receptions for 89 yards and a TD. Da'Corian Stanley had one reception for a 76-yard TD.
This week's players of the week were:
