Peach tops Hardaway 50-21
It was a Happy Homecoming for Peach County High School on Friday, September 23.
Robert Jones and Chris McMillian led the way for the Peach County offense. Jones and McMillian had 21 carries apiece and accounted for 486 yards of rushing. Jones had 266, and McMillian had 220.
Head Coach Chad Campbell said about his team's performance, "I thought we established the line of scrimmage and wanted to be able to get our running game going, and I thought we did that."
This was the first of a four-game home stretch for the Trojans. Highly ranked Carver High School (Atlanta) comes to town on September 30. The Panthers are 3-1 and ranked #2 in the Georgia High School Football Daily AAA poll. Their only loss is to Buford.
Peach County, who has moved up the #6 in AAA, will get an OPEN week on October 7, followed by the start of Region 2-AAA competition at home against Mary Persons on October 14 and then at home against Upson-Lee on October 21, which will be the Senior Night game.
