Boys and Girls Cross Country are headed to the GHSA State Championships
Peach County Cross Country travelled to Long County for the Sectional Championships and had the finest performance of the year under pressure. The Trojan boys are 1AAA Region Champions. Jackson Warlick is the individual region champion with an outstanding time of 18:06. Micah New finished fourth with a time of 18:39. The boys are state qualifiers, finishing ninth in our sectional championship today.
Peach County girls are Region 1AAA runners-up. Aydriana Jackson finished second in the region, running 20:13, and second overall for our section. Janae Banks finished fourth in the region, running 22:36. Our girls are also state-qualified, finishing 10th in the sectional.
What a day! Go Trojans! Next stop: State Finals.
