Two years ago, Peach County Cross Country sent just one athlete to compete at the Middle School State Championships in Cochran. This year, we fielded two complete teams.
Maylin Berrier capped off a remarkable season by appearing on the state medal stand for the second year in a row. Ava Cox broke 15 minutes on the toughest course around. Mary Klaire Zoumberis ran tough yet again, ending her 7th-grade season with a mighty effort. "All of the girls and boys made me so extremely proud," Coach Coleman said of his young crew.
"I would like to thank all of the parents and volunteers who have shown up organized, taken pictures, and cheered for us throughout this middle school season. You guys have bought into the vision of what Peach County Cross Country can be. It's been my pleasure just to be a part of it this season. Go Trojans!!!"
