Best Meet of the Season for Peach County XC

Best Meet of the Season for Peach County XC

Peach Cross Country had its best meet of the season Saturday at the Marion County Invitational.

The boys team finished 2nd and girls finished 4th.

Individually, Aydriana Jackson finished 2nd overall and had a milestone race, running 19:58. Breaking 20 minutes is quite a feat for a sophomore ladies runner.

Janae Banks, Kaydence Bare, Dulce Avila, and Aubrey Wingo rounded out the top 5.

Jackson Warlick and Micah New broke the 19-minute barrier for the boys.

Ashton Hayes, José Acosta, Gio Palencia, and Elijah Rouse all ran well.

For middle school girls, Maylin Berrier smoked the entire field, running 13:18 in the two-mile race. Mary Klaire Zoumberis also had a strong run. For the boys, Braylon Edwards led the way, running a sub-14-minute time.

Go Trojans!
