Peach County eSports - Week 4 Update
This week was a rollercoaster ride for PCHS eSports!
On Tuesday, our Splatoon 3 team defeated a rival opponent from Toombs County HS by a score of 3-1. We have played this opponent several times and have lost by narrow margins each time. It was a relief to finally secure a victory against this team. Our Splatoon team has moved up to #9 in Georgia.
Wednesday was not a very good day for eSports as our Super Smash Brothers A team, and our NBA2K player suffered losses. Our Smash A team lost to Northside by a score of 0-2. They have dropped to #55 in the A-4A division. Our Smash B team won by opponent forfeit. They sit at #64 in the A-4A division. Brian Hill faced off against Creekside High School in NBA 2K and lost by a set score of 0-2. He drops to #18 in the state.
On Thursday, there was a turn of events as our MarioKart8 team secured a 2-0 victory against Greater Atlanta Christian. Our MarioKart team was looking to make a comeback after last week's devastating loss. Game 1 resulted in a 131-103 point victory, and Game 2 resulted in a 133-101 point victory. Shania Williams scored 51 points in both races earning her the title of Player of the Week.
