With this win, they are now ranked #50 in A-4A and have a 3-2 record. LeVaughn Scott lost his NBA matchup versus Woodward Academy 2-1. Due to a technicality, Devin Washington won his match versus Early College High School at Carver 2-1. LeVaughn is ranked #16, and Devin is ranked #18 after week 5.

On Thursday, we have two Madden players and one MarioKart 8 Deluxe team representing our school. Our MarioKart team defeated Richmond Hill High School 2-0. They climb to #41 in the standings. Both LeVaughn Scott and Joseph Jones lost their Madden matches this week. LeVaughn's first Madden loss of the season was to Lambert High School. He is now ranked #6 in the state with a 4-1 record. Joseph lost to Carrollton High School. He finished week 5 with a 2-3 record and ranked #46 in the state.

Our eSports Player of the Week is Samuel Brown, aka "Poptart." Sam is a starter on our Splatoon A team, nicknamed "The Squidbillies," and our Smash C team, nicknamed "3 Biscuits No Bev." Through five weeks of play this season, Sam maintains an undefeated record in Smash Brothers. He has not lost a single set for his team all season! In Smash, he plays with Byleth, Pyra/Mythra, and Chrom. Sam is a viable asset to both of these teams, and we want to congratulate him on his success this season.
