Wrestling takes 3rd at the Battle of the Flint
The Trojan Wrestlers took home 3rd Place this weekend at The Battle of the Flint in Thomaston.
The Black and Gold had a fantastic Tournament, with Eli Brown taking 1st Place in the 175 lb. Division.
Joey Wozniak, Ivan "the terrible" Lopez, and Caleb Plant battled to a 2nd Place finish.
Jesus Sanchez came in 4th Place at 3-2 in his debut as a wrestler in the 190 lb. Class.
Ian Boutwell and AC Horsley also took 4th while going 3-2 on the day.
Braylen Radney, Kollin Miller, Jackson Ennis, Kevin Watkins, and Jordyn Miller-Horne all came up big, with multiple wins in a very competitive tournament.
The Wrestling team will hit the road again on Tuesday to face Mary Persons and Jackson in a Triple Duel. Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, January 5th, as the Trojans gear up for the first home wrestling match at Peach County High School.
