Peach County Flag Football has historic season
Led by first-year Head Coach Khayla Owens, the Peach County Flag Football team set some fantastic marks to build on for the future. The team finished with a 14-4 record (6-0 in Division 3 - Area 2) and made it to the Elite 8 GHSA State Playoff round before losing to defending State Champion Pope High School. The Lady Trojans had 9 shutout wins this season, enough to earn Coach Owens the Division 3 - Area 2 Coach of the Year honor.
Peach County also had the Division 3 - Area 2 Player of the Year, Ariana Respress. Ariana accumulated 2,002 passing yards, 456 rushing yards, 32 TD passes, and 4 rushing TD. Defensively, she had 24 tackles and 9 interceptions.
Ariana is joined Division 3 - Area 2's first team by Alasia Jones, McKenzie Washington, and Uzziah Rumph.
Making 2nd Team Division 3 - Area 2 are Davia Colbert, Janassia Wright, and Victoria Postell.
