Lady Trojans Flag Football splits opener with Colquitt and Thomas County Central

In Game 1, the Lady Trojans faced off against Colquitt County. The defense made an impressive interception on the game's very first play, but unfortunately, the Peach County offense struggled.  The Lady Trojans fell short on their opening drive, which ended just a yard from the goal line. The game concluded with a score of 19-6, with junior Davia Colbert scoring the only touchdown for the Trojans.

In Game 2, the Peach County rebounded with a commanding victory over Thomas County Central, winning 20-0 by mercy rule. Peach County established control early in the game and maintained its dominance throughout. Freshman Janassia Wright, sophomore Alasia Jones, and senior Jadaiyah Ross found the end zone, while senior Ny'Ayla Tillman and senior Jadaiyah Ross added two extra points.

Defensively, Aniyah West, Ariana Respress, and Michai'ah Harris made critical interceptions to start the season. The Lady Trojans hold a record of 1-1 for the season, with their next matchup set for October 15 at Dodge County.
