Bass Fishing Qualifies Two for the State Championship
PCHS Bass Fishing Team had a great day at GHSA Qualifying Tournament #3 at West Point Lake!!!
The Trojans brought 4 boats, and all 4 boats were able to weigh in fish.
Anglers Ty Thompson and Madison Dougharty, with boat captain and Coach Rickey Wray, weighed in 5 fish at 12.08 lbs, AND they placed 2nd and will be going to the State Championship in May.
Anglers Fisher Fuller and Blake Austin with boat captain Matt Edwards weighed in 5 fish at 8.13 lbs. Anglers Hunter Fuller and Malena Borders with boat captain Josh Fuller weighed in 5 fish at 5.14 lbs. Anglers Austin Ellyson and David Boydston with boat captain Nanette-Jimmy Alligood weighed in 2 fish at 3.02 lbs.
Congratulations Ty and Madi on your win today, well deserved!!! All of our anglers did a great job today, and you all should be PROUD of yourselves.
In the 1st GHSA Qualifying Tournament at Lake Seminole, Peach County's boat consisting of Boat Captain Robert Latour and anglers Landon Latour and Dallan Spivey placed 22nd and qualified for the GHSA State Championships.
